Stovax Stoves - the Regency

Stovax Regency StoveHere's what Stovax Stoves say about the Regency Stove:

"Originally patented by Benjamin Franklin in 1742, the Regency enjoys a pedigree unmatched by other stoves. It was designed at a time when America was still a British colony and its proportions were influenced by Franklin's visits to Georgian London.

With a fire burning and the doors open, the Regency's large firebox produces the atmosphere of a traditional open fireplace. The Regency is supplied in 2 sizes.

A pair of polished brass balls are supplied with each stove while a brass rail set is available as an optional accessory. A support bracket is cast into the side panel of every Regency into which an optional barbecue or bean pot may be fixed.

Both of these are manufactured from cast iron and the bean pot is supplied complete with a swinging arm which fits into the support bracket".
